Spring Forth New Beginnings
As the days grow longer and the chill of winter gradually fades away, there’s a palpable sense of anticipation in the air. Spring, with its vibrant colors and gentle breezes, heralds a time of renewal and fresh starts. It’s a season brimming with hope and promise, where the world awakens from its slumber and bursts forth with new life.
There’s something magical about the way nature unfolds during springtime. Flowers bloom in riotous hues, painting the landscape with their beauty. Trees unfurl their tender leaves, creating a lush canopy overhead. Birds return from their winter migrations, filling the air with their melodious songs. Everywhere you look, there’s evidence of growth and transformation.
Perhaps you’ve been feeling stuck in a rut, unsure of which direction to take. Spring invites you to release any doubts or fears holding you back and step boldly into the unknown. It’s a season of opportunity, where even the smallest actions can lead to profound change.
Take a cue from nature and allow yourself to bloom. Plant the seeds of your dreams and watch them grow with care and nurturing. Remember that every ending is a new beginning in disguise, and with each passing day, you’re one step closer to realizing your full potential.

For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten
The first daughter is for the Throne.
The second daughter is for the Wolf.
For fans of Uprooted and The Bear and the Nightingale comes a dark, sweeping debut fantasy novel about a young woman who must be sacrificed to the legendary Wolf of the Wood to save her kingdom. But not all legends are true, and the Wolf isn’t the only danger lurking in the Wilderwood.
As the only Second Daughter born in centuries, Red has one purpose – to be sacrificed to the Wolf in the Wood in the hope he’ll return the world’s captured gods.
Red is almost relieved to go. Plagued by a dangerous power she can’t control, at least she knows that in the Wilderwood, she can’t hurt those she loves. Again.
But the legends lie. The Wolf is a man, not a monster. Her magic is a calling, not a curse. And if she doesn’t learn how to use it, the monsters the gods have become will swallow the Wilderwood – and her world – whole.
Orson: Paragon Society Series, Book 1 by David Delaney
Orson Reid: college freshman, gamer, and quite possibly the legendary boogeyman of the magical world. And you thought your life was weird.
It all started the night Orson kissed his best friend, Elyse, and she kissed him back. Yes, the kiss was life-changing, but in ways Orson never could have imagined. It seems he contracted a “virus” that is making him taller, faster, and stronger. But his life doesn’t go completely off the rails until the night Elyse shows up at his house, strips out of her clothes, and shape-shifts into a giant cat – a panther, to be exact.
Now, instead of preparing for his freshman year of college, Orson is tossed head first into a world where shape-shifters, magic, and monsters are real. A world ruled by the secretive Paragon Society, a group that enforces magical law with brutal efficiency.
And if all that wasn’t enough for one guy to deal with, Orson may just be the Ollphiest, the legendary monster that even monsters fear.
Author Spotlight
Nathan Squiers is a resident of Upstate New York, where he divides his time not-so-equally at home between writing and “nerding out” over comic books, anime, and horror movie marathons with his loving wife and fellow author, Megan J. A four-time USA Today bestselling and award-winning author, Nathan Squiers began his writing career in 2012 and was voted one of the top-ten new authors of that year. His debut novel, Curtain Call, received both the “Best Occult” and “Best Paranormal Thriller” awards with the Blogger Book Fair, and his Crimson Shadow series has gone on to gain international recognition and become a bestseller in urban fantasy and dark fantasy.
Soar with Angels by Nathan Squiers
How far would you go to live your dream…?
Gregori Vailean is living the dream:
A supportive-albeit-unorthodox family…
A beautiful, brilliant, and brutal girlfriend…
And, after graduating at the top of his class from the prestigious Stryker’s Academy, the role he’s worked his entire life for.
A beacon; a protector;
a warrior!
So when he starts to catch glimpses of trouble beyond the veil of his perfect life—a mother who suffers in her sleep, a father who’s haunted by his past, and a wayward brother with a dangerous secret—Gregori knows that he has what it takes to save the day. What he doesn’t have, however, is a clue…
Good thing he’s gotten so close to the Xander Stryker:
Legendary warrior, world-breaker,
And, if the rumors are true, an all-seeing vampire god.
If anybody can help Gregori save his family, it’s Xander.
But, as Gregori’s about to find out, sometimes the price of living the dream is finding out that it’s a nightmare.
Writing Updates
I am currently editing a finished draft of a new poetry collection, titled: Deceptive Embers. Nicole is helping me with the edits while working on her numerous poetry projects. I am also reading over the submissions for Realm of Mayhem to begin the editing process as well. I hope to publish both these works in the Spring and Fall of 2024.
